300 Park AvenueIn one of the first re-cladding projects in New York City, MdeAS redeveloped this dated building with a pink-colored façade to its proper place as a Park Avenue headquarters. Minimizing disruption to building tenants, who remained in place throughout the construction process, MdeAS designed a composite aluminum rain screen that was installed without affecting the existing spandrel system. The resulting façade gives the impression of a brand new prominent building. |
340 Madison AvenueBy creating an efficient and uniform building floorplan, fitting state-of-the-art building systems within its core, and installing a high-performance curtain wall, MdeAS, in collaboration with Gensler, reinvented this vintage 1920’s masonry building as a timeless, modern, Class A office building. On the street level, retail storefronts adorned with long spans of ultra-clear glass renders the building as a mass gracefully floating above a glowing streetscape, keeping in line with Madison Avenue's history of prominent retail. |
545 Madison AvenueMdeAS oversaw this building’s drastic transformation into a new, modern gem. After being stripped down to bare structure, the existing building’s awkward setback configurations were reconfigured to a uniform shape. The façade has striking glass sizes— each panel almost twice the width of a standard curtain wall glass module—presenting a well-proportioned office with a view uninterrupted by mullion lines. |
