Bertram joined MdeAS in 2004, quickly established himself an expert in rendering and digital visualization. Leading the studio in technical design, he oversees the design process as project architect, upholding the MdeAS standard of quality and innovation.
Bertram’s knowledge in curtainwall design, detailing and construction has been instrumental in the completion of two major curtainwall projects: 330 Madison Avenue, a full building re-clad, and 510 Madison Avenue, a ground-up 30-story tower. His understanding of structural detail is apparent in the seamless design of his work. He is currently working on the Manulife Centre transformation including a new lobby and over 30,000 sqft of new retail in Toronto, Ontario.
