MIKE ZABORSKI

Mike, a principal at MdeAS, is both a conceptual and pragmatic thinker who consistently and creatively brings design concept into reality. Whether overseeing projects or mentoring the architecture staff, he promotes and evolves MdeAS' commitment to sustainability and craft in architecture and planning.

Since joining the firm in 1998, he has worked on a diverse range of projects including master plans, commercial buildings, retail, residential and mixed-use developments, curtain wall re-clad and over-clad, as well as lobby expansions and renovations.­­

A selection of recently completed projects include the re-cladding of tower and podium at First Canadian Place in Toronto, Canada, renovation of 650 California Street in San Francisco, over-cladding and repositioning of 330 Madison Avenue in New York City, Gotham Center Building B2 (Department of Health) in Long Island City, Queens and “The Cubes” at 120 West 42nd Street in NYC, winner of the 2013 NYS AIA Award of Excellence, Commercial Large Projects.
